How to Build Beautiful DIY Raised Garden Beds in 3 minutes!

In the video I will show you how I build my raised garden beds with basic lumber and corrugated roofing metal. The beds are not only beautiful but also durable and easy to build as well!

  1. Project Steps

    1. Step: 1

      Begin by making two sets of identical frames with your 2X3 wood and miter the ends so they fit together nicely.

    2. Step: 2

      Secure each corner with two 3 inch decking screws into pre-drilled holes.

    3. Step: 3

      Once your corners are secured, attach 3x3 corner roof flashing with standard roofing screws. Cut the corner roof flashing to the height you would like your garden beds to be.

    4. Step: 4

      Set one frame inside of the other and secure the other ends of the corner flashing with the roofing screws.

    5. Step: 5

      Take your mitered 2X4 wood and place on top of the frame. Pre-drill holes and secure with decking screws.

    6. Step: 6

      Cut down your corrugated metal to size and then secure it to the sides with standard roofing screws.

  • I have also watched your videos and I love how you have done these. I was wondering if you have done any with the  tin running horizontal? It would make them taller but it would save a lot of time not having to do so many cuts.
     Thanks for the great idea for making the raised beds.
